PocketLab Fentanyl test - Pack of 100

A kit for conducting a quick and easy test, to see if a powder has any fentanyl in it, or has been in contact with fentanyl.

Simply take a small sample of the powder on the cotton bud, add it to the buffer solution, and then test with the strip as per the instructions.

The strip is a highly sensitive urine test - detecting as little as 1000 ng/ml of fentanyl. This may be too sensitive, and could possibly pick up levels of fentanyl that are well below psychoactive doses from the air, or contamination of powder during handling in the supply chain.

SureScreen are developing a less sensitive test that will be less susceptible to false positive tests. We will stock this as soon as it's ready. Fentanyl is relatively rare in the UK and environmental contamination is less likely to occur than it is in the US or Canada, where fentanyl is more common.

These tests do NOT tell you how much of the substance being screened for is in your sample, but can at least give some reassurance, if negative, that there are no potentially fatal traces of this highly lethal opiate analogue in your drugs.

Can also be dipped into urine, post dose, to see if a recently taken drug contained fentanyl.

Who Can Use the POCSAG Transmitter?
The POCSAG system is ideal for whether you're caring for an individual or multiple residents in a care home envirnment. The ability to connect it to a range of pagers allows it to meet your own individual requirements in a wide range of situations.

How Does the POCSAG Multi-Function Transitter Work?
The transmitter sends a text messages to your pager, allowing you to identify the source of the alarm. For example, you might have a person that is at risk of wandering out of a front or back door, and you can customise the alarm to say "Front Door" or "Back Door" depending on which alarm is triggered. This allows you to react more quickly to any danger and helps to ensure that the person in your care is as safe as possible.

What Is the Transmitter Range?
The transmitter can send a message to a pager from up to 400 metres. Please note that this works best when there are as few obstacles between the transmitter and pager as possible.

How Are Messages Received?
Messages are sent from the POCSAG transmitter to the POCSAG pager (sold separately here). Messages are received in text format, with pre-programmed operation models for the door sensor alarm, floor pressure mat, and bed or chair occupancy sensor. It is also possible to programme in custom messages; please contact our Customer Care team for more information about this before purchasing.

Which Jack Sockets Are Present?
There are two jack sockets present on the transmitter: one 2.5mm socket and one 3.5mm socket. This increases versatility of the transmitter, allowing you to use it in a range of situations.

Why choose Pod Technical?
When we started Pod Technical, there were very few stethoscope cases on the market, and certainly nothing that we felt was a good enough product for the task of protecting the investment a medical professional makes into a quality stethoscope. Since we introduced our original classicpod and cardiopod solutions many other sellers have tried to capitalise on our success by producing cheap imitations of our cases or alternative designs that show no thought or knowledge of the requirements.

Why a shaped interior?
Our original cases were designed to mimic the optimum form for holding the stethoscope in transit that is used in Littmann's own product boxes. The foam inserts that hold a Littmann scope in place in their original packaging show the tubing held in a relaxed curve, and a much larger box for double-lumen tubing scopes of cardiology grade or higher. This is key to avoid damage and stress to the binaural during transit and storage. Whilst our original cases were designed to meet this standard (and are still in our opinion the best designed cases up to this point) we still felt we could improve upon them. With a wealth of feedback from our customers we were able to focus on creating a solution that is even more efficient and effective than before.

Why the new design?
The classicpod micro takes the shaped insert of our original classicpod case and utilises our patented cross-over bridge solution to hold the stethoscope perfectly in position in an even smaller form factor. Why use a formed interior at all when you can buy a cheaper 'stethoscope case' that is essentially just an empty box? For the same reason that Littmann doesn't ship the stethoscopes loose in an empty box. The chestpiece and headset of the stethoscope are metal. The tubing is rubber. As you can imagine, the constant friction of one against the other will cause damage over time. Additionally, forcing the tubing into tight curves in a small box causes stress on the tubing leaving kinks and ultimately damaging it. Our preformed case holds the stethoscope in a stress-free position and separates the metal parts from the tubing. The Polyco Finite P Indigo AF Nitrile Disposable Gloves are premium powder free nitrile disposable gloves that are compliant to European Standard EN 374, providing an effective barrier against oils, acids and other chemicals.

The Polyco Finite P Indigo AF Nitrile Disposable Glove has an AQL, or Acceptable Quality Limit, of 1.5 and also complies to Medical Standard EN 455 Class 1.

Made from high quality nitrile synthetic rubber, it is extremely soft with increased elasticity, yet still maintains a tensile strength comparable to natural rubber. These disposable safety gloves are ambidextrous so can be worn on either hand and they have a unique shape for an improved fit. The cuff is beaded which adds strength and prevents liquid roll back which is important when handling chemicals and other potentially harmful substances.

The Polyco Finite P Indigo AF Nitrile Disposable Gloves are free of proteins found in natural rubber which means they are suitable for users with latex allergy. The safety gloves also conform to Standard EN 1149 for anti static properties and are powder free reducing the risk of product contamination.
