Cosmopor E Sterile Absorbent Adhesive Dressings

Cosmopor E has an absorbent pad that cushions and protects the wound

Hydrofilm Adherent Dressing 10cm x 12.5cm - Pack of 10

Adhesive, transparent, semi-permeable film dressings which are waterproof and bacteria proof. Hydrofilm is used as a primary dressing to cover post operative and trauma wounds or as a secondary dressing for retention purposes. Hydrofilm Plus Features: a low adherent pad attached to the film.

• Prevents moisture build-up under dressings to avoid peel-off
• Secures dressing on the skin comfortably for longer wear time

Precautions:

Hydrofilm should not be used as a primary dressing on clinically infected, bleeding or heavily secreting wounds.

Indications:

• Hydrofilm is for use as a post-operative and primary dressing to protect against secondary infection and to cover non-exudating wounds
• Hydrofilm is also ideal for use as a secondary dressing for fixation of catheters or cannulae, or as a secondary dressing to cover primary calcium alginates such as Sorbalgon
• Hydrofilm Plus is for use in the care and protection of light to moderate exudating wounds including minor cuts, burns and scrapes

Waterproof Adhesive Wound Dressing 8cm x 6cm

• Qualicare Waterproof Adhesive Wound Dressings are great for covering larger wounds and abrasions that need to be kept dry and protected in order to speed the healing process. The low adherent dressing pad is held securely in place by the clear and discreet adhesive backing that is waterproof, light weight, soft and flexible.

  The dressing is applied in two simple stages – firstly, the white paper adhesive covers should be removed and the dressing should be applied to the skin like a plaster in the usual way. Secondly, once the dressing is securely in place, the clear outer protective layer can be removed at the blue strip to reveal the soft and flexible waterproof layer.
