Sure Fit Food Guard

Description

Attractive enough for any table. The inconspicuous design for the Clear Food Guard makes it ideal for home use or when dining out in a restaurant. Clear polycarbonate plastic is strong and functional, yet attractive. A perfect tool for persons who need a little extra assistance when eating. A snug fit means that the Clear Food Guard stays on the plate securely when food is scooped up against it so that no food slips off the plate. Tapered ends prevent the food guard from interfering with utensils. The Food Guard can be attached quickly even by clients with the use of just one hand. The grooved edge simply slides onto the plate, forming a gapless fit. Fits plates ranging from 210 to 250mm (8 " to 10") in diameter. Designed to nest together, taking up less storage space. Top rack, household dishwasher safe.

Stay Warm Feeding Dish

Stay Warm Feeding Dish
Ideal for individuals who eat slowly or who need to take their time with meals, the Stay Warm Feeding Dish is designed to keep food in the dish warmer for longer. It features a chamber underneath that can be filled with warm water for mildly warming from the base of the dish, as well as a lid for placing over the dish to trap in existing warmth.

Who Can Benefit from the Stay Warm Feeding Dish?
If you find that you or a loved one eats slowly, often resulting in meals becoming cold before they are finished, then this dish is ideal for helping to keep food warmer for longer. It is also suitable for individuals who need to take their time with meals, allowing opportunities for breaks from eating while keeping the food warm. This is particularly useful for elderly people or children, as well as anybody else required to pace meals for health or dietary reasons.

How Does the Feeding Dish Work?
The Stay Warm Feeding Dish has a practical design, with two compartments in the main dish for sectioning out food as required. Underneath the plate compartment, there is a chamber for filling with warm water, which then reduces the heat that escapes from the food out of the bottom of the dish. With a lid for placing over the top of the dish when not eating, the temperature has a greater chance of being maintained as the warmth is trapped inside the lid.

Non-Slip Design
Although the chamber is filled with warm water, the Stay Warm Feeding Dish is as safe as most other plates as it features a non-slip base. This reduces the risk of spillages, making it ideal for anybody who would prefer a little extra grip on the base of their crockery.

Description

Rim with grooved lip to help hold the utensil. Dish measures 230mm (9") in diameter. The base has non-slip rubber feet that hold the dish in place. Made of melamine, do not microwave. Dishwasher safe up to 125°F (52°C).

GripWare Round Scoop Dish Plastic

Description

The low front and high back are ideal for persons with limited motor co-ordination or the use of only one hand. Dish measures 200mm (8") in diameter. The plastic dish is microwave safe and can be gas autoclaved.

GripWare Partitioned Scoop Dish

Description

Compartments help to keep food separate and provide more surfaces for scooping. Dish measures 220mm (8 ") in diameter with 19mm ( ") high dividers. Two 118ml (4fl.oz.) compartments and one 237ml (8fl.oz.) compartment. Institutional dishwasher safe. The Scoop dish is made of melamine, do not microwave. Dishwasher safe up to 125°F (52°C).

Description

GripWare? High-Sided Dish makes independent eating easier. Made of melamine it is 20cm (7 ") in diameter and has sides that measure (3.2cm) 1 " high. Description

This flexible Food Guard can be fitted to most ordinary plates to assist with one handed eating. The three clips of the Food Guard attach it to the rim of the plate and create a high inward sloping face to help with food collection and prevent spillage.

The Food Guard is designed to fit plates sized from 190 to 254 mm (7 to 10 inches) external diameter.

To maintain a good level of hygiene the Food Guard is microwave and dishwasher safe.

This Food Guard is only available in the colour white and is a lightweight 45 grams.
