Smart and practical, the Homecraft Everyday Adult Bib is suitable for use in care environments. The colourfast polycotton outer layer is hard-wearing but absorbent, ensuring that any spills are immersed into the fabric right away. The soft, flexible waterproof backing protects clothes to ensure they are not stained.
Protective and Absorbent Layer
Some users can struggle with eating neatly as a result of injury, disability, hand tremors, or other medical conditions. This can make mealtimes a messy affair, as individuals can end up with stained clothes and leave their carers with a lot of clean up.
The Everyday Bib eliminates these frustrations by providing a protective, absorbent layer as the user eats. The bib is also fitted with handy press-on studs so that a pocket can be formed to catch excess food while eating if the user is prone to dropping food.
Quick and Easy Fastening
The bib can be fastened either with hook and loop patches for quick, easy donning, or with metal poppers for extra security. There are two alternative fastening positions for the poppers depending on the preference of the individual.

For individuals who are susceptible to food spilling due to weak grip, hand tremors, abnormal muscle contractions or other similar medical conditions, struggling to eat neatly at the dinner table can be a struggle. It detects when a door is opened or closed and triggers the voice recording in the alarm (not included) to play, which can remind them to go back into bed or to wait for you to help them, or whatever else you want it to say.
The alarm then sends a signal to your pager (not included) that lets you know that they have tried to leave their room, or a close a door that should remain open, so that you can go and help them. This set enables you to get even more from your existing system, giving you an extra level of security.
Two Versions Available
This Monitoring Alarm system is available in two versions: Normally Open Contact or Normally Closed Contact. The differences are as follows:
Normally Open Contact: This version signals an alert whenever a door is opened.
Normally Closed Contact: This version signals an alert whenever a door is closed.
Easy To Set Up
The door contact set is incredibly easy to set up. Just place one of the contacts on the door and another next to it on the door frame, plug it into the voice alarm and you're good to go.

Rondish Wireless Bed Leaving Alarm Sensor Mat Full Kit
OV2921
Regular priceRondish Wireless Bed Leaving Alarm Sensor Mat Full Kit
It can be difficult for carers to always monitor their patients, particularly at nighttime. They may need to be taken to the toilet during the night, could fall out of bed or, if suffering from dementia, may be prone to wandering off. The more patients under your care, the more challenging it becomes to keep an eye on them all.
There are bed leaving sensor systems available which alert you if someone has left their bed, helping you know when you are needed. Typically, these are designed to monitor a single patient. But what if you work in a care home or hospital, with multiple patients in your care?
The Bed Leaving Alarm Sensor Mat Full Kit is unlike most standard bed leaving sensors in that it's capable of connecting to up to 99 different bed or chair sensors. This means you can keep tabs on a large amount of patients at once, so you won't have to be constantly checking on them all. With the Bed Leaving Sensor Kit, you can ensure you'll be alerted exactly when you're needed.
How Does the Bed Leaving Alarm Sensor Mat Full Kit Work?
The kit consists of everything you need to monitor when a patient gets out of bed. You simply place the bed sensor mat under the mattress or bed sheet at pelvis height. When the patient sits or lays down, the wireless transmitter acknowledges detection with two beeps.
When the patient leaves bed, an alarm signal is sent from the transmitter to the pager receiver, which can be attached to the carer's person using the provided belt clip to ensure they'll never miss an alert.
The carer will be signalled with sound or vibration, making it suitable for both the hearing and visually impaired. It also features a flashing LED light and will display which transmitter number is signaling. That way, if if you are monitoring multiple beds, you will know exactly which mat is being triggered so that you can quickly respond to the correct patient.
Adding Additional Mats
The kit is already set up to use with the provided sensor mat programmed as 'Number 1', but has the ability to connect with up to 99 mats on each pager. For each Additional Sensor Mat you wish to add, you must purchase an additional Wireless Transmitter to send the signal to your pager.
Additional Information
If the mattress is very thick, or the patient is of a slight build, it may be necessary to place the sensor mat on top of the mattress covered with another bed sheet, instead of underneath the mattress.
If using the sensor in conjunction with an electric blanket, then it is important the sensor goes beneath the mattress rather than beneath the sheet. Otherwise the heat might interfere with the sensor.
To ensure that the mat is functioning correctly, lie on the bed and then get up to check that the system is alerting as expected.
Key Features of the Alarm Sensor Mat Kit
Includes one bed sensor mat, wireless transmitter and pager receiver
Can connect with up to 99 bed sensor mats (only one included) to monitor multiple patients at once

Language button - can change the language of the spoken mat identification number, automatically set to English
Adjustable volume
Smart function - enables you to review the last 6 alarm calls
Low battery warning indicated by flashing LED
Pager has a belt clip so can be easily attached to person
Can also be placed in pocket or on a surface
Optional 15 minute alarm delay - allows patient to go to the toilet without triggering alarm, but will alert you if they have not returned to bed after 15 minutes
Can alternatively set device to alert you immediately

Description
SSD Anti-Tamper Control Unit
Caring for patients who are vulnerable or prone to falls is hard work. You cannot have eyes and ears everywhere, but must monitor their movements to help prevent falls and injuries. An ideal way of achieving this is through the use of either the SSD Anti-Tamper Bed/Chair Exit Alarm or the SSD Anti-Tamper Floor Sensor Mat.
If you require either an additional control unit or wish to replace your existing one, you do not necessarily want to purchase new mats as well. The SSD Anti-Tamper Control Unit is available separately and comes with a magnet cord to alert the carer if the patient moves away from the unit.
Features of the SSD Anti-Tamper Control Unit
The controller works in three different modes:
With a chair/bed sensor mat
With a floor sensor mat
With the magnetic clip
The mats work on the weight transference of the patient. The magnetic clip attaches to the patient's clothes and then is pulled away when they try and move away from the sensor unaided, sounding the alarm and alerting the carer to the movement.
The controller can work either as a stand alone system or be integrated into a pre-existing nurse call system. The correct lead must be obtained to connect to the system so it is important to state which system you are using when checking out.
What the Kit Contains
Purchasing the control unit does not just come with one control unit. The following are provided in the kit:
Anti-Tamper Fall Prevention Controller
Remote control reset fob
Reset key
Wall mounting bracket
Bed mounting bracket
Magnetic Clip
4 x AA Batteries.
Please Note: The bed, chair and floor mats are not provided in this kit. For the controller to operate in different modes, they are required.

Anti-Tamper Floor Sensor Mat
When caring for an elderly or vulnerable person, it is important to monitor their movements to help prevent - or react to - falls and the injuries. But it can be hard to have eyes everywhere, especially when working in a care home environment.
With the Anti-Tamper Floor Sensor Mat, you can be alerted when the person tries to move on their own accord and react to the situation. This helps prevent falls and injuries, statistics that care homes are keen to keep down.
Features of the Anti-Tamper Floor Sensor Mat
The floor mat is designed to help prevent falls by sounding an alarm as soon as the person moves, allowing assistance to reach them before they take another step. The mat is designed to trigger the alarm as soon as the person steps onto or applies weight to the sensor.
The alarm can either be an audible one if the system is being used as a stand-alone one, or can be connected into a nurse call system with an connector lead (not supplied). If it is wired into the system, then the alarm will be silent. The alarm can also be sent directly to a staff's pager for an instant alert if required.
The option between an instant alarm or a two second delay helps to minimise the risk of false alarms. This means that a person can shift their weight without sounding the alarm, but cannot move further than that.
The alarm can only be reset by the use of either the handset or the reset key. This prevents the patient from resetting the alarm themselves while still being at risk of a fall. A suspended alarm option can be accessed via the remote control so the staff can assist the patient without setting off the alarm, giving them a two minute window to work in.
Technical Details
The heavy duty floor sensor mat measures 900 x 600mm.
The alarm is operated by 4 x AA batteries, which are provided with the kit.

You just want to ensure that your patient or loved one is safe, without sacrificing your sleep and their privacy by gluing yourself to their side all night long.
The Pressure Mat with Transmitter alerts you if your patient has left a room. Activated by pressure, the mat sits under a door mat or rug, and works with your existing MPPL receiver to help you keep tabs on someone in your care. Therefore, you can sleep a little easier knowing you'll be the first to know if your patient or loved one is at risk of getting lost or harming themselves, even if you are on the other side of the house.

How Does the Pressure Mat with Transmitter Work?
The Pressure Mat with Transmitter is really easy to set-up and use: simply place the mat on the floor of your desired location. This might be next to the bed of your elderly loved one to monitor when they get out of bed, or by the front door to ensure you'll be alerted should they leave the house.
The Pressure Mat should be placed underneath a standard rug or mat to prevent slipping and obstruction; this also makes the appearance more discreet.
If the mat is walked on, the pressure will trigger a signal to the included transmitter, which will then alert your existing MPPL pager receiver. That way, you can monitor the movements of someone you care for more closely, without any intrusive additions to furniture or the wider room.
Features of the Pressure Mat with Transmitter
The EasyLink Pressure Mat with Transmitter with Radio Alarm Receivers hosts a range of features for effective performance:
Includes 1 x pressure mat and 1 x transmitter
Detects movement when walked on - perfect monitoring someone with dementia prone to wandering
Low battery mode on transmitter so you won't be caught without power

Description
Long Range Door Contact Transmitter for POCSAG Pager
If you are using the Long Range Door Alarm with Pager system, you know your mind can be set at ease by the 400m range alerting you to the door being opened. But the problem lies with having more than one door. How can you be alerted when other exits are used?
With the Long Range Door Contact Transmitter for POCSAG Pager you can do so easily. The pagers can be used with any number of transmitters so any door or window can be alarmed. When the contact separates, a message is sent to the pager informing you. With the individual transmitter, you can purchase as many as you need and they will all connect to the same pager.
Features of the Long Range Door Contact Transmitter for POCSAG Pager
The transmitter has a long range of up to 400m and connects with the POCSAG Pager.
Simple to both install and use, the transmitter and the magnet have markings on them to show where they should be lined up. Ideally, the transmitter is best on the door frame and the magnet on the door so it is not damaged through the opening and closing of the door. However, individual situations must be taken into account and the parts secured where they are safest.
There is only an on/off switch present for ease of use. When the contact between the transmitter and the magnet is broken and the two part further than 1cm, a personalised message will be sent to the pager informing which exit is being used. Suitable for either windows or doors.
The transmitter is run off a 3V Lithium battery that is designed to last for the lifetime of the product and is supplied.

Long Range Door Alarm Transmitter with POCSAG Pager
If there are members of your family prone to wandering, it is important to have alarms on the doors and windows so you are alerted if they leave. The issue is the range. It is even more dangerous to believe you have the doors alarmed and then to move out of range so you never receive the warning for you will not be on your guard. Your loved one could be out the door and down the road and you wouldn't even know it.
With the Long Range Door Alarm Transmitter with POCSAG Pager, you do not have to worry about that. With a range of up to 400m, the transmitter sends a personalised message to the pager, informing you not only that a door has opened, but which door it is. This means you can be alerted swiftly to precisely which exit point has been used and react accordingly. The long range not only extends the distance but makes it more beneficial in buildings with thick walls or other levels of interference.
Features of the Long Range Door Alarm
The compact transmitter is simple to use due to only an on/off switch being present. There are marks on both the transmitter and the magnet to indicate how they should be lined up. The ideal positioning is to have the magnet on the door and the transmitter on the door-frame so it is not damaged through the opening and closing of the door. However, individual situations must be taken into account and it should be positioned in the best place for you. The transmitter is powered by a 3V Lithium battery.
Features of the POCSAG Pager
Powered by one AAA battery (included)
A personalised message is sent to the pager when the alarm is activated
Each pager can be connected to a number of transmitters, each with a personalised message
A number of doors can have transmitters so you can monitor all exits with only one pager
Please Note: Message personalisation can only be done with us, to order your transmitter with a pre-programmed message, please call us on 020 7720 2266. The default pre-programmed message is "Door Alarm".

Description
PIR Motion Sensor and Voice Alert Monitoring Alarm System
Ensuring that those under your care don't become a danger to themselves by wandering when they shouldn't is incredibly important. The PIR Motion Sensor and Voice Alert Monitoring Alarm System enables you to do this.
What's Included?
1 x PIR Motion Sensor
1 x Voice Alert
1 x 300mm Connecting Lead
1 x 3-Metre Connecting Lead
Remind and Reassure
The PIR motion sensor detects movement in a certain area and triggers the voice recording in the alarm to play, which can remind them to go back into bed or to wait for you to help them, or whatever else you want it to say.
You can record your own message into the voice alert, enabling you to remind them not to go outside or into a certain room or cupboard. Hearing a familiar voice helps to reassure the individual and makes them more likely to listen to the message.
Easy To Set Up
The PIR motion sensor is incredibly easy to set up. It's mounted on a swivel, which means you have a huge variety in positioning it in the room to best detect movement. Simply place it where you need it to be placed, plug the lead from the sensor into the voice alarm and you're good to go.
Expandable System
The monitoring alarm system is expandable in a range of different ways. For example, an MPPL Home Care Alarm System Pager (sold separately) can be connected to the voice alert alarm, enabling you to be notified in the home if the person under your care moves where they shouldn't.
Battery Operated
As the PIR Motion Sensor is battery operated, it still works even in the event of a powercut. This also means that it doesn't need to be situated next to a mains socket for it to work.

Door And Window Contact Sensor For Home Care Alarm System
OV2904
Regular priceDoor And Window Contact Sensor For Home Care Alarm System
One of the biggest dangers that comes with patients who are prone to wandering is not knowing they have left the premises. Patients can be crafty; they might not chose the front door as their exit route and it can be hard to keep your eye on all of the potential exits, especially when working within a care home environment. The Door and Window Transmitter Kit,can give you eyes on every door and window, alerting you the moment they are opened.
With the potential to monitor eight separate sites, these Contact Sensors can expand your monitoring capabilities even across a large premises. The sensors are easily attached to a door or window frame and come ready to use straight out of the box.
Features of the Door and Window Contact Sensor
Two-part sensor kit, magnet should be no further than 1cm away from the sensor
Arrives with batteries and ready for use
Supplied with Velcro dots for easy installation
Will alert pager when door or window is opened
LED Light appears red when movement is detected
Low battery alert will be sent for 2 weeks before battery failure
Ideal for doors, windows, fridges, shed doors, fire escapes etc.

Up to eight transmitters can be used with a single pager
Please note: The seal on the 9 volt battery must be removed before first use, failure to do so will prevent the monitor from working. The velcro dots supplied for mounting will damage wallpaper and paint when removed.
Can I Use the Door and Window Contact Sensor with My Door?
The Door and Window Contact Sensor features a design that is suitable for most doorways, however for certain doors where there is little room around the frame, it may not be suitable. In these cases, we would recommend using a PIR Motion Detector as an alternative from the same system.
Can I Use This Sensor with My Existing Pager?
Yes, you can pair this sensor to your existing pager. Up to 8 sensors can be paired to each pager.

Chair Occupancy Alarm Mat System with Voice Alert and Pager
OV2903
Regular priceChair Occupancy Alarm Mat System with Voice Alert and Pager
The Chair Occupancy Alarm Mat System with Voice Alert and Pager has been designed to monitor and assist a person who requires help when leaving a chair. Not only are you alerted instantly that the person is rising from their chair, but you are also able to pre-record a reassuring voice message that will play to the patient or loved one as soon as they get up.
What's Included?
1 x CTM-3 Voice Alarm
1 x MPPL Pager
1 x CT2 Chair Mat
This is a full system comprising everything you need for chair occupancy monitoring, including the batteries required for operation. This allows you to set everything up quickly and easily without worrying about having to obtain additional parts.
Who Can Use the Voice Alert System?
The voice alert system is ideal for many care situations, both at home and in professional care. Examples of situations include, but are not limited to, the following:
Helping someone who is unsteady on their feet
Monitoring someone prone to wandering
Assisting someone who may require assistance when they get up to go to the toilet
Monitoring a person who could be a danger to themselves or others if they get out of their chair
Making sure that if someone has returned to their chair safely after a toilet break or short walk
How Does the Alarm Mat System Work?
The chair pressure mat is placed under the cushion of the chair, and this is then connected to the transmitter, which is also the voice alarm. When the mat detects that the user has left the chair, an alert is transmitted to the pager so that you can assist if necessary. A voice alert can also be emitted at the point of transition; see below for more information.
How Does the Voice Alert Work?
With the voice alarm, you can record a voice message, and whenever the patient tries to leave their chair it will play the message. This helps to reassure them that help is on the way soon, and can also serve as a reminder for them to take their walking aid or emergency call pendant with them.
How Comfortable Is the Chair Mat?
The chair mat is incredibly thin, which means that it isn't noticeable or uncomfortable under the chair. It can be placed underneath the cushion out of the way.
Will the MPPL Pager Work in My House?
For certain properties, such as older houses with thicker walls, you may find that the range of your MPPL device is reduced. To counter this, we recommend using the MPPL Pager Alarms Signal Repeater and Booster, which can be used to expand the operating range of your product.
Delay Feature for Bathroom Visits
The Occupancy Alarm Kit features a delay function that can be programmed to send an alert to the pager if the chair has been unoccupied for up to 15 minutes. This is great if an individual in your care can go to the bathroom on their own but should not be wandering for too long on their own.

Floor Pressure Mat Wander Alarm With Pager and Transmitter

Description
Floor Pressure Mat with Pager and Transmitter
If you are a carer or in charge of keeping an eye on a loved one, it can be hard work. Some in particular are prone to wandering, leaving them at risk of injuries and falls if no one is aware they have moved. But you can't be everywhere at once and you can't always know when they have moved, especially considering how quiet they can be when they change position.
You need a way of being alerted if they were to move, whether that is getting up off their chair or passing through a room they should not.
With the Floor Pressure Mat With Pager and Transmitter, you can be. The mat should be concealed under a rug or carpet so it does not become a slip hazard, but then positioned in the designated area. This can be next to a bed, a chair or even by an exit they are likely to use. When the pressure is placed on the mat, the sensor will send an alarm to the pager to alert you to the person's movements.
What Is Included with My Purchase of the Floor Pressure Mat with Pager and Transmitter?
Your purchase will include the following:
1 x Floor pressure mat
1 x Transmitter
1 x Pager
How Does the Pressure Mat Work?
The Pressure Mat is quick and easy to install as it comes with everything you need: mat, transmitter and pager. The small transmitter is connected to the pad and when pressure is applied to the pad, the transmitter sounds the alarm on the pager. The sensors within the mat are two thin layers and when they connect, the alarm is triggered. The transmitter sends a wireless signal to the pager and has a range of 120 meters, which is long far enough to keep the mat under a doormat.
The pager can be connected to up to ten pressure mats if required. The alarm has to be reset after a use. Even if the person has continued moving and stepped off the mat, the alarm continues to sound, alerting you as the carer to the movement.
Where Can I Use This Alarm Mat?
The 120 meter range of this alarm mat means it can be used creatively under rugs or mats around the house. Provided you can stop it from becoming wet ? for instance if you have a porch covering ? it can even be used under a doormat.
Features of the Floor Pressure Mat
Transmitter has a range of 120 meters
Pager requires two AA batteries
Transmitter is powered by one PP3 9V battery
Dimensions of the mat: 75 x 45cm
How Do I Use the Mat?
The pressure pad should always be placed under something due to the slippery nature of the pad. For those who are already unstable on their feet, it is important to ensure the mat will not be a trip hazard if they are not used to stepping onto rugs et cetera. A motion sensor monitor can be used to detect movement as well, such as this PIR Transmitter and Alarm Pager Kit.
Please Note: The mat should not be folded as this will damage and crack the sensors.

Featuring a choice of a variety of plugs to make it compatible with any nurse call system, the Alertamat Bed Pressure Alarm Mat will be up and running immediately, and operating with ease.
How Does the Alertamat Work?
The Alertamat Bed Pressure Alarm Mat features a pressure sensor to detect when a patient leaves their bed in order to proactively give the carer advanced warning of any fall or attempt to leave the bed. Can I Place the Alertamat Under a Mattress?
While the Alertamat may work when placed underneath thinner foam mattresses, we would recommend placing it on top of the mattress, possibly beneath a fitted sheet. This will ensure the sensor triggers the alarm immediately, avoiding the delays or false alarms that can sometimes occur when it is placed beneath a mattress.

Alternatively, this Bed Pressure Alarm Mat can be easily connected to any common nurse call system, allowing the carer to choose between localised alerts, or centralised alerts to the entire nursing staff, so prompt patient care is ensured. High-Volume and Vibrating Alarm Pager
The Radio Pager features a built-in alarm that notifies you via sound alert and vibrating alert when the transmitter has been activated. This has three settings so you can be notified either via a high-volume tone, low-volume tone, or by vibration only. The pager will continue to alert you for up to two weeks until it is turned off and has a battery life of approximately 12 months (although this is dependent on the usage and batteries).
Housed in a robust and stylish case, the Alarm Pager is ideal for a carer to carry around throughout the day if your patient tends to wander and is at high risk of harming themselves or others. Up to eight pendants can be used with the alarm pager if multiple windows and doors must be checked; simply purchase more Door and Window Contact Sensors to personalise the system.
Security Alarm Transmitter
The transmitter of the Door and Window Security Alarm with Pager Kit is powered by an included (but unattached) nine volt battery. The device has a range of 100 metres and features a low-battery warning that is transmitted to the pager. The transmitter battery lasts up to 12 months depending on usage, and can even be placed in a power-saving mode that turns the LED light off for an additional six months of battery life.
Can I Use the Door and Window Contact Sensor with My Door?
The Door and Window Contact Sensor features a design that is suitable for most doorways, however for certain doors where there is little room around the frame, it may not be suitable. In these cases, we would recommend using a PIR Motion Detector Kit as an alternative from the same system.
Can I Add More Pagers or Transmitters?
Each Door and Window Alarm can be used with as many MPPL pagers as you like, as long as each pager has been paired with the device. Additional pagers are available separately.
If you want to use additional alarms with one MPPL Pager, you can use as many as eight different transmitters with a single MPPL Pager. Additional sensors are available separately.

MPPL Pager for the Home Care Alarm System
OV2894
Regular priceMPPL Pager for the Home Care Alarm System
The MPPL Pager for the Home Care Alarm System is used as an addition to a wide range of Medpage and EasyLink transmitters. You can add up to eight transmitters to one pager, enabling you to monitor up to eight patients or residents at any one time.
What's Included?
1 x MPPL Pager
Please note that, in order for this pager to work, a transmitter is required. It is compatible with all Medpage and EasyLink transmitters.
Who Can Use the MPPL Pager?
When used alongside a compatible transmitter, the MPPL Pager is ideal for many care situations, both at home and in professional care. If you monitor an individual who is prone to wandering, getting out of bed, or leaving a chair unassisted, then this pager can help to ensure that you can offer them the assistance they require when it is needed most.
How Does the Pager Work?
The MPPL Pager is connected to a transmitter (sold separately). When a sensor sends an alert to the transmitter, the transmitter then sends an alert to the page to inform you of the situation.
How Are Alerts Received?
The alerts are received through the pager with either an audible alarm or a vibration. The volume of the beeper alert can be adjusted as required, and the vibration mode is ideal for silent operation at night.
