TurnSafe2 Patient Transfer Aid
The TurnSafe2 Patient Transfer Aid is a compact, ergonomic and very easy-to-use device for sit-to-stand positioning and transfers with turning. It has been developed in close co-operation with medical personnel and users, and therefore it efficiently looks out for the interests of both parties. An update on the old model, the TurnSafe2 activates and supports users with impaired balance and strength in the legs during transfers from bed to wheelchair or from wheelchair to toilet.

The TurnSafe2 features a large foot plate with an anti-slip surface, adjustable height handles and lower leg supports which are also adjustable both sideways and in height. These features, together with the stable and grip-friendly handle, enable the user to actively participate in the sit-to-stand and transfer.
The TurnSafe2 is also an excellent aid which spares the backs of the carers, and therefore reduces the risk of work related injuries.

Those who use the MiniLift 160 or MiniLift 200 Standing Aid will know how innovative it is in conducting smooth, gentle and comfortable sit-to-stand transfer of patients with impaired balance or weak strength. The Sling Bar Wrap is a useful pad that provides soft protection to the middle bar to protect a user's head in the event of an impact.
Safety Precaution
The Sling Bar Wrap is an optional accessory that can be used with MiniLift Standing Aid or other patient lifting devices. It serves as a safety precaution in the event of the user's head making impact with the mid-section of the sling bar during a lift.
The wrap is suitable for patients who use slings that enable an upright seated posture, or for patients who have a tendency to tilt forward during a lift due to poor balance or uncontrolled movements.
How to Attach the Sling Bar Wrap
Place the Sling Bar Wrap around the mid-section of the lifting bar. The open section allows connection of the link from the lift arm for easy fastening. Then, secure the Sling Bar Wrap by joining the Velcro strips.
Cleaning the Sling Bar Wrap
The Sling Bar Warp is made from nylon that is easily wiped clean using disinfectant. If disinfection is needed, 70% ethanol, 45% isopropanol or similar alcohol disinfectants should be used.
