The bed and chair sensors have a specially molded pocket that stores a miniature transmitter. When positioned under the mattress or chair cushion of the patient, there are no visible signs to tempt vandalism or tampering. The sensor transmitter sends signals to the cordless sensor pad that:

Triggers an alarm when the patient rises from their bed or chair.
Sends signal to cordless alarm to confirm patient in bed. Cordless alarm ?In Use? LED blinks to confirm.
Sends signal to cordless alarm to warn of sensor pad transmitter battery low.
Sends polling signal to cordless alarm to confirm connection of radio signal between transmitter and cordless alarm.
Because there are no cables between the sensor and alarm monitor, it's ideal for people with behavioral problems who have a tendency to damage equipment.

The Door and Window Contact Sensor features a design that is suitable for most doorways, however for certain doors where there is little room around the frame, it may not be suitable. In these cases, we would recommend using a PIR Motion Detector Kit as an alternative from the same system.

Can I Add More Pagers or Transmitters?
Each Door and Window Alarm can be used with as many MPPL pagers as you like, as long as each pager has been paired with the device. Additional pagers are available separately.

If you want to use additional alarms with one MPPL Pager, you can use as many as eight different transmitters with a single MPPL Pager. Additional sensors are available separately.

Wound Care Pack - Pack of 100

Ulcers on the limbs of people who inject drugs are painful, debilitating, and at high risk of infection. This wound care pack gives people the means to clean and cover a wound until they can get to a healthcare professional who can assess and treat it.

• Soak up exudate;
  

• Prevent the wound surface becoming dry (dry wounds heal more slowly);
  

• Reduce the risk of infection; and
  

• Prevent clothing further damaging the delicate healing surfaces.
  

• 4 x Sterowipes to clean the wound and the skin around it;
  

• 1 x Zetuvit E pad. A non-irritant, non-adherent, highly absorbent dressing pad with an absorbent core made of soft cellulose fluff, a tissue layer for distribution of exudate, and a blue non-woven polypropylene layer on the backing of the dressing for protection against contamination;
  

• 2 x Steroswab. Sterile, non-woven swabs that can be used to cushion and protect, and prevent dryness in an open wound;
  

• 2 x Steropad. Highly absorbent, low adherent double-sided absorbent dressings to cover the wound area;
  

• 2 x Steroply conforming bandages to hold the dressings in place, and provide further protection;
  

• A roll of hypoallergenic medical tape to secure the bandage;
  

• A sealable plastic bag to put used dressings in; and
  

• A wound care advice and information leaflet.
  

• NOTE: the bandage is just to hold the dressing in place, and should not be too tightly applied as this could restrict blood flow to the wound. This shouldn't be a problem when it's first applied as it isn't highly elastic, and will relax within half a day or so. If it is reapplied people should be advised that they should be able to comfortably fit two fingers under the bandage.
