365 Non Woven Island Dressings is a range of sterile, self adhesive, soft non woven wound dressings incorporating a non-adherent absorbent pad, and a hypoallergenic, water-resistant adhesive to secure the dressing in place.
Indications for Use Suitable for use primarily on acute wounds with low levels of exudate. For example; • Superficial Cuts and abrasions • Clean, closed, post-operative wounds • Minor burns & Donor sites • Chronic wounds with low levels of exudate
Contraindications and Warnings Do not use on patients with a known sensitivity to 365 Non Woven Island Dressings, or any of its components. 365 Non Woven Island Dressings should not be used as a dressing for; • Wounds with moderate to high levels of exudate. • Full-thickness burns. • Deep cavity wounds. • As a replacement for sutures and other primary wound closure methods.
Dressing Application 1. Choose a dressing size large enough to provide a margin that adheres to dry healthy skin. 2. Peel the two white paper liners from the dressing to expose the absorbent pad and adhesive border. 3. Position the absorbent dressing pad centrally over the wound. 4. Gently press down the adhesive border onto the skin. 5. Smooth the entire dressing from the centre toward the edges using gentle pressure to enhance adhesion.
Frequency of Dressing Change The frequency of dressing change will depend on the clinical circumstances however the dressing should be changed if exudate penetrates through the soft cloth backing. 365 Non Woven Island Dressings may be left in place for up to seven days.
Dressing Removal To remove 365 Non Woven Island Dressings from the wound, gently peel and lift one corner of the dressing from the skin. Support the skin whilst peeling the dressing off in the direction of hair growth. Care should be taken to avoid skin damage with repeated applications, or on patients with fragile skin.
Precautions • Stop any bleeding at the site before applying the dressing. • Do not stretch the dressing or skin during application as tension can cause skin trauma. • 365 Non Woven Dressings are not waterproof. • Care should be taken to avoid skin damage with repeated applications, or on patients with fragile skin. • Do not use if the packaging has been damaged. 365 Transparent Island Dressings is a range of a sterile, self adhesive, showerproof transparent film wound dressings incorporating an absorbent, non-adherent pad. Film Island Dressings are made from a latex free, semi-permeable polyurethane film membrane, coated with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive.
365 Transparent Island dressings are breathable, allowing good oxygen and moisture vapour exchange. They are showerproof and impermeable to liquids, bacteria and viruses to reduce the risk of wound infection.
Transparent Film Island Dressings help to; • Facilitate wound healing • Provide a moist wound healing environment • Enable patients to shower with their dressings in place • Protect newly forming tissue to aid wound healing• Prevent contamination by dirt or bacteria, thus reduce the risk of wound infection.
Indications for Use 365 Transparent Island Dressings are primarily indicated to be used on acute wounds with low levels of exudate. 365 Transparent Island Dressings are therefore suitable for use with; • Superficial cuts and abrasions • Clean, closed, post-operative wounds • Minor burns • Donor sites • Chronic wounds with low levels of exudate
Preparation;
1. Use existing clinical protocols to clean/debride the wound in preparation for the application of 365 Transparent Island Dressings. 2. Ensure that the skin surrounding the wound is clean, dry and free from grease or soap substances. 3. The clipping of hair at the wound site may improve dressing adhesion, shaving is not recommended. 4. Select a dressing that is of a suitable size and shape. Choose the dressing size large enough to provide a margin that adheres to dry healthy skin around the wound site.
Dressing Application 1. Peel the two white paper liners from the dressing to expose the absorbent pad and adhesive border 2. Position the absorbent dressing pad centrally over the wound. 3. Gently press down the adhesive border onto the skin surround the wound. 4. As indicated by the blue arrows remove the transparent release film on the back of the dressing from the centre outwards. 5. Smooth the entire dressing from centre towards the edges using gentle pressure to enhance adhesion. 6. Without disturbing the dressing, observe the wound daily for signs of infection or other complications (or as recommended by heathcare professional). Frequency of Dressing Removal The frequency of dressing change will depend on the clinical circumstances. 365 Transparent Island Dressings may be left in place for up to seven days. If signs of clinical infection are observed the dressing should be removed and professional advice obtained.
Dressing Removal 1. To remove 365 Transparent Island Dressings from the wound, gently peel and lift one corner of the dressing from the skin 2. Support the skin whilst peeling the dressing off by stretching the film horizontally and in direction of hair growth. As the film is stretched, the adhesive releases and the film turns an opaque white colour. 3. Care should be taken to avoid skin damage with repeated applications, or on patients with fragile skin. 3. Clean the wound in order to remove any remaining exudate before wound assessment or the application of new dressings.

It is breathable, allowing effective oxygen and moisture vapour exchange (MVTR 1176g/m2/24 hours*) to optimise the wound healing environment. It is impermeable to liquids, bacteria, and viruses to reduce the risk of wound infection. Dessings are showerproof enabling patients to shower without disturbing their dressings.
Indications for Use Suitable for use as a primary or secondary dressing for low or no exudate wounds.For example; - Cuts and Abrasions - Clean closed post-operative wounds - Superficial pressure damage - Leg ulcers - Protection of donor sites - Minor burns - Protection against skin breakdown - A fixation device for catheters.
Dressing Application 1. Cleanse the wound and ensure that the skin surrounding the wound is clean, dry, and free from creams and/or wound cleansing solutions. 2. Select a dressing that is of a suitable size and shape. Ensure the dressing has a 2 cm overlap around the wound edge. 3. To apply the dressing, open pouch and peel the liner from the dressing to expose the adhesive surface. 4. Position the dressing centrally over the wound bed and apply. Press the exposed adhesive side of the dressing onto the skin surrounding the wound, do not press onto the wound. The remaining white card frame around the dressing gives it rigidity and makes it easier to apply. 5. Once the dressings is secure, slowly lift and remove the white card frame and smooth down the dressing edges. Then smooth the entire dressing from the centre toward the edges. 6. When applying to a contoured area, 365 Film may be cut in order to aid adhesion (please note the bacterial barrier property is compromised if the dressing is cut).
Dressing Removal 1. To remove 365 Film from the wound, gently peel and lift one corner of the dressing from the skin. 2. Support the skin whilst peeling the dressing off by stretching horizontally (not vertically) and in the direction of hair growth. As the film is stretched, the adhesive releases and the film turns an opaque white colour. 3. Care should be taken to avoid skin damage with repeated applications, or on patients with fragile skin. 4. Clean the wound in order to remove any remaining exudate residue before wound assessment or the application of new dressings.
Dressing Wear Time • The frequency of dressing changes will depend on the on condition of the wound and clinical circumstances. Dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days, if signs of infection are observed, remove the dressing.
Precautions; • Stop any bleeding at the site before applying the dressing. • Do not stretch the dressing or skin during application as tension can cause skin trauma. • Care should be taken to avoid skin damage with repeated applications, or on patients with fragile skin. • If the condition of the wound deteriorates, consult your healthcare professional. • Do not use if the packaging has been damaged. • Sterile. • Single Use. • Latex Free. • Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.

SMS gown material is made from layers of spunbond Polypropylene material giving strength, with a layer of meltblown material for repellency. 365 Non-Adherent Dressings are sterile, absorbent wound dressing pads. The absorbent inner layers draws exudate away from the wound and a low-adherent wound contact layer minimises the risk of the dressing adhesion to the wound bed. The low adherent wound contact layer is perforated to allow the passage of exudate from the wound into the dressing.
365 Non Adherent Dressings are suitable for use with a variety of light to moderately exuding wounds including; • Clean sutured wounds • Abrasions - Lacerations • Minor burns.
Dressings are also suitable for use as a primary wound contact layer for more heavily exuding wounds, if backed by a second absorbent dressing.
Dressing Application 1. Cleanse the wound and select a dressing pad large enough to provide a margin that reaches dry healthy skin around the wound site and apply. 2. The dressing will need to be held in place with a suitable retention aid (e.g bandages or adhesive tape). 3. The frequency of dressing change will depend on the clinical condition of the wound, the dressing should be changed if exudate penetrates the dressing.
Dressing Removal • To remove dressings from the wound, gently peel and lift one corner of the dressing from the skin. • Support the skin whilst peeling the dressing off in the direction of hair growth.
Precautions; • 365 Non Adherent Dressings are not waterproof. • Use with caution in the treatment of leg ulcers that produce copious quantities of very viscous exudate. With such wounds, exudate may become trapped under the dressing, leading to maceration and inflammation of the surrounding skin. • Dressings are intended for use on light-moderate exudate wounds, in these situations, a single dressing may simply be secured over the wound with surgical tape. Dressings are also suitable for use as a primary wound contact layer for more heavily exuding wounds, if backed by a second absorbent dressing.
Dressing Application 1. Cleanse the wound and select a dressing pad large enough to provide a margin that reaches dry healthy skin around the wound site and apply. 2. The dressing will need to be held in place with a suitable retention aid (e.g bandages or adhesive tape). 3. The frequency of dressing change will depend on the clinical condition of the wound, the dressing should be changed if exudate penetrates the dressing.
Dressing Removal • To remove dressings from the wound, gently peel and lift one corner of the dressing from the skin. • Support the skin whilst peeling the dressing off in the direction of hair growth.
Precautions; • 365 Non Adherent Dressings are not waterproof. • Use with caution in the treatment of leg ulcers that produce copious quantities of very viscous exudate. With such wounds, exudate may become trapped under the dressing, leading to maceration and inflammation of the surrounding skin. • Dressings are intended for use on light-moderate exudate wounds, in these situations, a single dressing may simply be secured over the wound with surgical tape. On more heavily exuding wounds, 365 Non Adherent Dressings can be used as a wound contact layer, beneath a secondary absorbent pad held in position with surgical tape or a bandage. • Stop any bleeding at the site before applying the dressing. • Do not stretch the dressing or skin during application as tension can cause skin trauma. • Care should be taken to avoid skin damage with repeated applications, or on patients with fragile skin. • If the condition of the wound deteriorates, consult your healthcare professional. • Do not use if the packaging has been damaged.
