94% of healthcare professionals inhale too fast when demonstrating how to use a standard Pressurised Metered Dose Inhaler (pMDI). Inhaling too fast means only half the dose reaches the lungs.

The In-Check Flo-Tone Inhaler Trainer from Clement Clarke is a simple solution to the co-ordination difficulties that many patients face when using an inhaler. The Flo-Tone attaches to a standard pMDI (the patient's own device or a placebo), and emits an audible signal to indicate that the correct inhalation rate.

The Flo-Tone can be cleaned easily using warm soap and water and left to dry.

The pMDI is a widely used popular inhaler format, yet many patients do not use their inhalers correctly due to a range of factors, including:

Inhaling too rapidly.
Inability to co-ordinate actuation correctly.
The need to get patients to inhale correctly is now widely recognised. There are many dedicated sessions at respiratory conferences. The publication of the ERS/ISAM guidelines has highlighted this problem, and the In-Check Flo-Tone is the ideal solution.

Ambu Res-Cue Pump with Disposable Collection Chamber

The Ambu Res-Cue Pump is the most versatile, hand powered emergency pump. A cost effective alternative that offers convenience and performance and a wide range of features.

The compact design takes up only little space and can therefore be placed easily in the emergency bag. The lightweight makes it possible to handle the pump during use easily even when using it over an extended period.

For a wide range of application the vacuum can be adjusted from 100% (450 mmHg) for the use on adults to 50% (225 mmHg) for the use on children.

The pump/handle is the reusable part of the Ambu Res-Cue Pump. It contains a special overfill protection that prevents contamination inside the pump/handle and eliminates need for flush-through procedures and prevents inconvenient exhaust splashing of liquids.

The disposable collection container can easily be replaced, reducing the time for making the Res-Cue Pump ready again.
