The battery-operated scales with large, easy-to-read LCD display combine innovative technology with space-saving design. Due to its low weight and integrated handle (can also be used for hanging the scale), it is easy to transport and is quickly ready for use anywhere. The optional measuring rod seca 232 allows measuring and weighing in one step.
Weighing only 3.4 kg, this scale is a real lightweight in its class. The integrated side handle makes it easy to transport. Another practical feature is the flat and thus space-saving design, making it easy, for example, to store the scale away in the drawer of a baby's changing table. It can be packed away safely for transport in the optional transport case seca 428.
The baby feels at ease and safe in the extra large, comfortable weighing tray of the seca 336. Larger babies or small children can be weighed in a sitting position. The weight is shown on the brightly illuminated LCD display and the automatic switch-off ensures powersaving operation.

The medical Body Composition Analyzer (mBCA) by seca breaks down weight into body compartments relevant to the practice of medicine, namely, Fat Mass and Fat-Free Mass, Body Water (made up of extracellular water and intracellular water) and Skeletal Muscle Mass.
Measurements are processed by six analytical modules and presented in easy-to-understand graphics. seca has conducted validation studies that compare its measurement results with the scientific gold standard. Automatic electrode detection
The seca mBCA 515 makes a measurement only when all the electrodes have proper contact. This safeguard prevents faulty measurements and thus spares the patient from having to repeat the procedure. As the seca mBCA 515 shows when one of the eight electrodes is not working correctly, it’s possible to intervene and correct the positions of the hands and feet before a measurement is taken.
Standing aid with hand-held electrodes for precise results.
No other BCA has hand-held electrodes in a standing aid. This combination is important as it prevents faulty measurements and ensures result reproducibility. When the patient always grasps the electrodes in the same way, the angle of the arms to the body is unchanged for every measurement.
