Aircast Knee Cryo Cuff with Gravity Cooler Saver Pack

Suffering from trauma to the knee or undergoing surgery on the knee can cause a great deal of discomfort and swelling, which in turn tends to make walking difficult. The Aircast Knee Cryo Cuff with Gravity Cooler Saver Pack uses the therapeutic benefits of controlled cold compression to minimise swelling and reduce pain, while its anatomical shape ensures to completely cover the affected area and therefore aid healing.

What's Included in This Saver Pack?

The Aircast Saver Pack includes:

  • 1 x Knee Cryo Cuff
  • 1 x Cryo Cuff Gravity Cooler

When Can I Use the Aircast Knee Cryo Cuff?

The Aircast Knee Cryo Cuff is highly versatile, designed with safety and ease of use in mind. It can be used for virtually any condition to reduce swelling and relieve pain, but it is most frequently used in the following situations:

  • Post-operative recovery
  • Rehabilitation
  • Sporting injuries
  • Trauma

Can I Use the Cuff without the Cooler?

To ensure best results, the Aircast Knee Cryo Cuff needs to be used in conjunction with the Gravity Cooler. This way you can enjoy full benefits of compression and cold therapy.

How Do I Use the Knee Cryo Cuff?

  1. Prep the cooler by pouring ice and cold water into the tank. Allow for ice and water to sit for five minutes to chill.
  2. Make sure the cuff had been emptied (if previously used), and wrap it around your knee using Velcro straps. Ensure a tight but comfortable fit.
  3. To fill your cuff, connect the hose from the cooler to the cuff. Place the cooler on a stable surface, so that the base of the cooler is equal to your Cryo Cuff.
  4. Please note: While the unit is running remember to never lift the cooler higher than four inches above the Cryo Cuff, as this can cause excessive pressure.
  5. Remember to empty the cuff after each use.

Can You Sleep in It?

We recommend keeping an eye on the temperature of the water and level of compression to ensure best results, and advise against sleeping in the Cryo Cuff. If you're looking for something you could apply before going to bed and not worry about it again, we recommend the CoolXChange Cooling Gel Bandage, which is reusable and provides up to two hours of treatment at a time. Alternatively, the Dura Soft Knee Sleeve Knee Ice Pack Wrap can be safely left on your knee even for prolonged periods, as it eventually simply warms to body temperature and can't cause any discomfort.

Please note that this device can be cold enough to cause serious injuries. Read and understand all warnings and instructions for use before using the device.
