Whitacre Pencil Point Spinal Needles have proprietary needle tipping, side-port and unique low-glare hub technologies. The tip is designed to spread the dural fibres. Needles are high flow to improve flow rate and speed of CSF. Distinct “pop” as the pencil point penetrates the dura and offers increased “tip strength” to minimise bending or breakage. The precision-formed side hole allows/facilitates directional flow of anaesthestic agents and helps reduce the possibility of straddling the dura. A translucent hub ensures faster CSF visualisation.
