Regular priceGrip Handles for the Homecraft Deluxe Nosey Cup
Anyone who has purchased the ingenious Homecraft Deluxe Nosey Cup will know how useful it is for people who cannot tilt their head or neck to drain liquid from a cup. The Grip Handles are designed to provide individuals with extra security, particularly those who have trouble gripping cups without handles. Keep this as a spare in case extra precautions are needed and to instill a further sense of independence.
Facilitates Safe Swallowing
Dysphagia is a condition that affects successful swallowing. It occurs after a head injury, but is more commonly seen in stroke victims. The Deluxe Nosey Cup is shaped to avoid contact with your nose when the cup is tilted, allowing you to drink without tipping your head back.
This is useful for users who have difficulty in completing a safe swallow or restrictive head and neck mobility, as the design of the cup helps prevent liquids from escaping at the lips and directs the liquid to the centre of the mouth.
How to Fit the Grip Handles
The Grip Handles easily clip into the inset rim around the edge of the Deluxe Nosey Cup, allowing a firmer, two-handed grip for the individual. To fit it onto the cup, simply align the small lugs on the cup to the corresponding holes in the handle, and then press firmly into place. To remove the handles, gently twist each side in turn and slowly pull down.
Please note that the Deluxe Nosey Cup will not be included with your order and must be purchased separately.
