After heat moulding the orthotic, attach the approriate size heel lift to the rear of the orthotic, using the double sided tape provided to secure in position, Trim any excess.

A heel lift should never be used without an orthotic to treat a short leg, as the longer leg will usually accomodate to the length discepancy by pronating to level the pelvis.

Long leg pronation should be treated first ( using ICB orthotics), with a heel lift being added to lift the structural short leg.

Adding a heel lift to ICB Orthotics can also reieve pain associated with Severs Disease and Achiles Tendonitis.
